Our daughter must have been really good this past year since Santa left a BOTE Board Monster beside the Christmas tree for her. Now I am starting to look for something that I can paddle to keep up with her as well as fly fish from. I'll likely go with the BOTE HD but the recently released Ahab looks to be the well thought out flagship of the BOTE Board line up.
The weather is supposed to touch near 80 degrees this weekend in South Carolina and we'll likely be out on the family pond giving Hadley her first strokes on the Monster. We'll see just how fast this girl can be on her new ride. I think she is going to leave the wife and I behind as she zips across and down the pond.

I'd love to see her fight a 20lb carp on that thing. It would be like wake boarding. That is really cool for the right scenarios.
