We woke to our last day on Beaver Island to sun but with winds that were churning Lake Michigan with crashing waves that quickly nixed our last day of fly fishing. The group spent the morning getting everything packed up along with wrapping up loose ends before our flight back over to the mainland. It was tough leaving and I am already looking for a return trip next summer.
In a week or so I'll get a wrap up post up which will hopefully feature a few photographs and maybe some other content from everyone that made the trip. There are some thank yous to get to as well from those on the island as well as industry support from the fly fishing community that added a lot to this trip.
