The Ladder Diaries - Day 1

I'll be breaking this week's trip down to Pyramid Lake in more detail but here's a few photographs from our first day hucking full sinking lines, leaches, and weird foam beetles from a ladder.

Our rag tag group spent the day with Matt "Gilligan" Koles of Gilligan's Guide Service and everyone gained a lot of confidence in the techniques and methods of fishing this unique fishery.   More on all that in a few days.  In the meantime, enjoy a few images from our first day on the water.

We're all up at the hotel in Reno and getting ready for another day of fly fishing at the lake.  Thanks again to Gilligan for getting us all squared away yesterday.

Enjoy the experience, Cam, as I know you will. Play 33 on the roulette table for me.
