In Atlanta and not doing anything on Thursday night? How about pencil in and grab a ticket to attend the Down The Hatch film festival at the Center Stage Theater. It's going to be a good time and proceeds will benefit the Chattahoochee Riverkeeper.
Oh yeah, and Tom Rosenbauer (author, podcaster, and all around good guy) will be hanging out at Orvis Atlanta earlier in the day for a Q&A session.

"Orvis Atlanta and Sweetwater Brewing Company are partnering to host the 2nd annual Orvis Down the Hatch Fly Fishing Film Festival at Center Stage Atlanta on October 22nd,to benefit Chattahoochee Riverkeeper. Chattahoochee Riverkeeper (CRK) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting and preserving the Chattahoochee River, its lakes and tributaries for the people, fish and wildlife that depend upon them.
Many industry leaders have come together to donate product for the evening’s raffle during the film’s intermission including, River Through Atlanta, Unicoi Outfitters, Bay Street Outfitters, Southeastern Anglers, Matt Miles Fly Fishing, Yeti, Costa, Grayl, Pro Bar, Icebreaker Merino, and Tacky Fly Boxes. Orvis’ own Tom Rosenbauer, author of the Orvis Fly Fishing Guide and host of the extremely popular Orvis Fly Fishing Guide Podcast, will be present at the Atlanta store during lunch the night of the show, from noon to 2 p.m. for a question and answer session, and will be the M.C. for the evening.
The event for ticket holders will kick-off with a 1 hour pre-party at the theatre that will include free Sweetwater Brewery Beer and appetizers courtesy of Orvis Atlanta. The 1 hour film consisting of several inspirational fly fishing short films will start at 7:30. Half way through the show Tom Rosenbauer will draw for the many great raffle items including the grand prize, and Orvis commemorative H2 fly rod with Atlanta’s own Sweetwater Brewery logo.
Price for the show is $25 and includes admission to the pre-party, a $25 Orvis Gift Card, and serves as your raffle ticket for the drawing for great products and fly-fishing trips."
