As this year's week long fly fishing trip to Beaver Island was winding down, several in town were coming up to us saying "Have you seen it? There's an article on fly fishing for carp in the new Traverse Magazine."
This local excitement was for David Karczynski's article that was published in Traverse Magazine highlighting his trip last summer to Beaver Island. It really captures what Michigan island life and the fly fishing scene is all about in both words and images.
I bought a few copies of Traverse while I was up in Michigan but also great to see that this article has been posted online as well.
