OAK & OSCAR - Built to Discover Trip to the Driftless

The other day, Oak & Oscar sent out an email blast with the story and images from last year's late summer trip to the Driftless for their Built to Discover Trip.  As an Oak & Oscar Owner (Humboldt GMT and more recently the Atwood), I tagged along with great group of Owners that was made even better with Brad Eaton of Greens & Streams grabbing me at the airport a couple days early for our own hijinks and Dave Fason, who was along as the trip photographer.

We had a few stellar days of fly fishing, drinks and meals together, and a couple field trips to round out the weekend.  I think there is something to be said for a boutique watch company that invests in shared experiences with those that support them.  That level of connection is not typical but it's a large part of what drew me to Oak & Oscar when I was looking for a watch to celebrate my 50th birthday.

Take a few minutes to check out the Marking Time on the Water article on the Oak & Oscar website and if you'd like to read more on this trip from a T.F.M. perspective, check out these articles...

THE DRIFTLESS - WHAT FLY RODS MADE THE TRIP AND WHY

Have you been considering a new watch?  Give Oak & Oscar a look and email if you have any questions.  I've been fully impressed and do like that the founder, Chase Fancher, is such a trout bum and happy to answer questions through their Instagram page.
