Heddon Pal Superlative #770

Yesterday I received a wonderful Heddon Pal Superlative #770 in the mail sent by CrustyBugger from the Fiberglass Flyrodders site. He recently listed a stack of very fine fiberglass fly rods and this five weight with the faux bamboo finish just spoke to me.
I have a small Heddon Pal collection and this one, along with a #8381, may end up as my two favorites.

Now the difficult part...to figure out which reel to pair this with?

This rod has been re-wrapped but the work done was top notch. I am really excited to fish this fly rod soon!

It spoke to me as well...I turned my hearing aids off! It's a beauty and I expect it's going to be a well used weapon in your arsenal.

Just wondering if anyone can tell me about a Heddon Pal SUPERLATIVE #770 Trout 8' Rod with what looks like "D-JX DJX" on it. I inherited this from my father recently and would love to know what line weight it could be used with.

Keefaholic...check out the Fiberglass Flyrodders website for more information on the Superlative #770. I'm sure that it's a six weight line and that would be a good place to start. Maybe a seven weight line. What is the condition?
