Good looking rods at a great price.
I bought the 8' 5wt Classic glass by South Fork for 2008 season and caught and released my best fish of the season with the rod.
Compared to the other rods based on the Lamiglas "Honey" blanks I think the South Fork rods are a bit faster with plenty of power in the butt.
Dave and Margot are great people to deal with and the workmanship is great.
Try one, you will love it. And the price can't be beat. One of the big three now wants $595 for their glass line. These rods are very nice rods but the value in the South Fork rods is higher in my opinion.
If I can get the cash together (repeat after me debt is a four letter word, cash is not) the 9' 5 wt will be making its way to Michigan soon.
