Cameron, take the ferry to Bainbridge Island. Once off the ferry head up to the light and take a left on Winslow Way, then a left on Madison, then a right on Parfitt Way. The Pegasus coffe shop will be on your left. Great Espresso! Also if you have time get breakfast at the Streamliner Diner right off the ferry to your left on Winslow Way. Very small place that also serves Pegasus. The Sage factory is also a few miles away. Vivace usually wins the area awards though for its espresso roast and its incrediblt foam.
Yeah, it's hard to top Vivace. BTW, you might as well hit another Seattle institution and try Dicks Drive-in. The deluxe's are just what a greasy burger should be. My dad took me to Dicks back in the 70's. One on Broadway, another on 45th in the U-District.

Check out ZOKA coffee in the University District or Wallingford.
Dan and T.R....thanks for the suggestions. Did Espresso Vivace again this morning. Convinced it would be hard to top their skills.
