South Fork Rod Company now offers two lines of fiberglass fly rods with their
Classic series and the
South Fork Glass series. The
South Fork Glass rods are a black unsanded blank which are rolled in Florida by David and Margot Redington. I have cast and fished several of the prototypes in this series and have been quite impressed. Faster action than the Classic series but still retain all the qualities of a fiberglass fly rod.
The Redington's have always built a quality fly rod for the money but with this discount customers are getting custom builds for an unreal price.
