T.F.M. peep and Fishy Kid gear sponsor Mark Schafer of The Steelhead Shop sent along a few photos of his backyard smoker and what he did to a Boston butt roast over the recent Memorial holiday weekend. He also posted up a thread on the Itinerant Angler forum which is worth a look as well.
All rubbed up and ready to smoke. Looks like that rack has seen some use which is a real good sign.
T.F.M. has never been afraid of a little smoke and fire so it seems fitting to have a decal slapped on the smoker.
The before photo...
...and after hours twenty hours in the smoker.
The results look like they pass the judge's picky critique. Sauce on the side please.
Ah summer...friends, barbecue, and fly fishing too. Thanks for the photos Mark!
