Over the last couple months I've been hearing and seeing more about the Swedish based fly fishing brand
IMAGO on the internet and industry magazines. I thought that it would be interesting to introduce the T.F.M. readership to the company through an introductory post and then follow that up with several gear review of their products as well.
John Zerihoun, co-founder of
IMAGO, and I have been trading messages recently and I've gotten a good sense for what their company is about and where it is going. I'm excited for the
IMAGO brand and looking forward to watching it grow. The
IMAGO vision is about providing practical and useful gear that has been thoroughly tested prior to release to the angling public.
John provided a few photographs showing the
IMAGO crew on a two month fly fishing trip in the "Imagomobile" full of gear where they covered over 3,000 miles in their travels to find fish.
Look forward to an upcoming
Gaia fly reel review by Christian Hörgren and a
Waist Bag review by myself.
I believe we'll be seeing more
IMAGO fly fishing gear stateside in the coming year.

Good stuff Cam, always up for another gear review I trust. I have a buddy overseas that has the waist pack and likes it for it's simplicity and slim design. May be just what a flybox junky like me needs to force the riverside gear list to get smaller ;) I lok forward to seeing what you think of it.
