It's taken this displaced Midwest Yankee a few years to "acclimate" to living in South Carolina and I'll readily admit to complaining year after year about how winters have just never felt like how winter is supposed to feel.
I'm coming around though and very much enjoy wearing shorts twelve months a year and grilling out on a warm February evening with a cold drink in hand.
