Late last week Shane Gray of Graywolf Rods sent along a photograph of a build that he is working on for T.F.M. as a long term demo.
Shane stacked up the glass blank, all the components, threads, and cork for a photograph to show that this build is soon to be underway.
This custom build will be done on an eight foot four piece McFarland Rods yellow fiberglass blank, and then using a Joel Lemke wood insert and custom reel seat hardware, and silk wraps.
This looks to be the perfect match for The Spey Company Single Spey Trout Reel and Phoenix Classics four weight double taper silk line that I have.
This is one that I certainly can not wait to see finished.
