Last week Shane Gray of Graywolf Rods emailed a stack of photographs of the completed McFarland Rods yellow fiberglass four piece eight foot four weight blank build that he was working on for T.F.M.
I tried to just pick just a couple photographs to post from what Shane sent but couldn't limit it since each photograph sent highlights a different and unique part of this stunning build.
I am quite impressed in all parts of this build and can't wait to pick this fly rod up at the U.S.P.S. Office as soon as it opens tomorrow morning.
I have a The Spey Company Single Spey Trout Reel and a Phoenix Classics Silk Fly Line waiting to match with it.
Thank you to Shane Gray for his hard work on this outstanding fiberglass build. It should be quite the perfect trout outfit in all ways.

Oh Lordy! Makes me think of carrot cake and a cuppa black coffee! Delicous!
Of course you'll be wanting to fish with it but it hits those same strings.
