T.F.M. OFFER
Christopher Fave Fly Fishing contacted me last week and wanted to extended a special offer to the T.F.M. readership of sixteen knotted leaders of your choice for $30 for the remainder of this month.

This deal is an extension of his Custom Dozen Special and all you need to do is mention T.F.M. in the order box when listing out your leader needs and wants in your order.

I've been using knotted leaders since I started fly fishing almost twenty years ago and over the past few months have been very happy with the knotted leaders that I ordered from Christopher Fave.

GIVEAWAY
Lastly, Christopher Fave wanted to give away a free set of knotted leaders to a T.F.M. follower and I'm making it easy to play.  All you need to do is a leave a comment on this blog post and at the end of the month I'll chose a random winner who will receive eighteen leaders in either 7'5" or 9' in 4X, 5X, 6X.  Six of each tippet size.

Check out the Christopher Fave Fly Fishing website for more information and the products offered.

Christopher can be contacted by email or telephone at 570-337-0062 if you have any questions.

Have never tried knotted ones, but they are trouted, er, touted by knotty types who love 'em. So I am game to cast them to find out why. Currently, all my leaders are 7.5 footers.

Seems the more we progress forward the more we realize that the old way of doing something are better. knotted leaders and glass rods are prime examples.

I really like the look of Christopher Fave's knotted leaders, ever since I saw Cameron's first post about them on TFM. I am contacting Christopher about adapating / modifying his leaders for the "simple leader strategy" system I now use, and then will switch from factory tapered leaders to his knotted leaders.

I have used one knotted leader before. I bought it and it sat in my bag for a while till i finally decided to try it out and it is amazing.

I used Chris's leaders on my first trip the Spring Creek in Pennsylvania, and landed some nice fish. The leaders had great turnover and I was very happy with them.
