12 Days Of Christmas Gear Giveaway

A few weeks ago I started thinking about a good way to wrap up the year with some serious gift giving to the T.F.M. readership.  There was a flurry of emails sent and it didn't take but a couple of days to have seventeen gear sponsors interested in helping play Santa Claus.

Starting next Monday morning I'll be putting a 12 Days Of Christmas post up each day which will be one part review of a product or company and one part gear giveaway.  Sponsors will be providing prizes of fiberglass fly rods, gift certificates, sunglasses, fly lines, clothing, gear bags, and more.  Trust me...it's going to be good and all you'll have to do is send an email to T.F.M. each day to play.

Fortunately all the gear companies involved more or less let me hand pick the items that I wanted to give away and I focused the prizes on gear that I have fished extensively over the past year or new gear coming out next year that really impressed me while at IFTD a few months ago.

The 12 Days Of Christmas Gear Giveaways sponsors are...

BLUE RIVER FLY COMPANY
BUG SLINGER
CABELA'S
COSTA
FISHPOND
HOWLER BROTHERS
KORKERS
MONTANA FLY COMPANY
MOOSEKNUCKLE LANYARDS
ORIGINAL BUFF
REDINGTON
RIO PRODUCTS
SAGE
SCIENTIFIC ANGLERS
SMITHFLY
SOUTH FORK ROD COMPANY
WILLIAM JOSEPH

The gear giving starts Monday, December 5th and runs until Friday, December 16th and all you have to do each day is send an email to be in the mix for your chance to win.

Winners will be chosen daily by random number generator and posted the next day.  Believe me...you won't want to miss a single day of it.

Thank you to everyone that reads T.F.M. each day and a huge thanks also to all the sponsors of the 12 Days Of Christmas that helped make this huge giveaway possible.  Look for the first post Monday morning.

Just typical - I'm going to be away fishing until the 8th so will miss the first few days. Hopefully I hook some lunkers to compensate... :-)

Hello Cameron,

This year, I plan to throw a surprise party for Santa when he comes down the chimney and refuse to let him leave until the strippers arrive. Some of you will have to wait just a bit longer for your gifts - but NO WORRIES! - gifts will be got.

Hi Cameron,

My cousin just inherited a very old Mitchell Sovereign fly rod. My guess it that it's glass. Know anything about it? He's aiming to start fly fishing next summer and I would like to tell him wether this s the rod he should be starting with.

Thanks.

Robert
