The plans are all falling into place for the upcoming Asheville Fly Fishing Film Tour event which will be held again this year at Highland Brewing Company this Saturday, April 7th. The festivities begin at 5 p.m. with the films starting at 7:30 p.m.
The preparty includes live music by the Woody Pines, try your casting hand on the S.C.O.F. miniature casting course complete with tubers and spin fisherman, and enter the raffle to win a Yeti Cooler or a half day float trip with Appalachian Fly Guides. The Gypsy Queen Cuisine food truck will be on scene to keep everyone fed and of course there will be pints available from Highland Brewing Company too.
This event is sponsored by Hunter Banks and Southern Culture On The Fly with T.F.M. lending a hand in lining up a stack of raffle items which will be given away that night from Costa, Bug Slinger, Korkers, Leland Outfitters, Nomad Landing Nets, William Joseph, The Flyfish Journal, Goat Head Gear and Recycled Waders. In short there will be a lot of winning raffle tickets with all the raffle proceeds going to support Trout Unlimited and Project Healing Waters.
S.C.O.F. and T.F.M. will have booths set up with swag for sale and we're even trying to mastermind a way to give a few pints of beer away as well. Stay tuned for more on that.
Pick up your tickets at Hunter Banks Co. at a discount or pay a little extra at the show. Either way make plans to be there.
