A DELIBERATE LIFE

As of early this morning Matt Smythe of FishingPoet.com and photographer Grant Taylor are on a plane returning to Idaho where the impetus took shape a year ago for their upcoming film project called "A DELIBERATE LIFE".

Check out Matt's latest blog post on FishingPoet.com of their plans in Idaho and where this idea is going. I really dig the trailer and hope that the full cut film is as impressive.

Beautiful film. I filmed Bud Lilly in the last few months of his life. His mission before he died was to further the movement to LEAVE THE FISH IN THE WATER. The survival rate for fish taken out, as you do, is really alarming. Unless you’re keeping the fish, leave them in the water. It’s easy to unhook them with any of a number of devices. Please help keep our fisheries intact for future generations and pass on the idea that fits well with your aim.
