OCD, Flies, And Fly Boxes

Okay...I admit that I may be just slightly OCD...but the fly boxes are ready for Montana.  Whew...

I took a couple hours the other night and loaded up a couple Green Caddis Outfitters and a Umpqua UPG fly boxes with everything that I thought I might need for the trip.

Attractor dry flies, nymphs of all sorts and sizes, mayfly and caddis dry flies, and a box of streamers and mice should carry me through the week just fine with room to add a dozen here or there if there is a few patterns that I may need as well.

I think that if you had a look-see into my boxes, you might have a heart attack! ;) Have a great time in Montana!

I also suffer from that same debilitating OCD.. medication will make you a much happier person. Currently I am taking 20 milligrams of dub and a gram of hash daily. This helps immensly.

e.m.b....these fly boxes won't look like this at the end of the week.

Swamp Yankee...I bet.

A lot of familiar patterns and a lot I don't recognize. Mine looked much like that when I left for MT, nothing close when I returned. I hope you have as great a trip as I did, I'm sure you will!

These are wonderful. I go back and forth between envy and understanding with boxes that look like this. When do we cross the OCD line with fly fishing? Long ago for any of us!
Have a great trip.

Pam...thanks. I'm thinking this trip will be a very good time.

TB...it's a fine line and I'm usually very far over it in the deep depths of undeniable OCD status. I figure I'm in good company though.
