The Redfish Box

A few months ago I asked Paul Puckett of if he'd consider breaking out the Sharpie and drop some fly box art on a Cliff Outdoors Bugger Beast Jr. with an image of a tailing redfish in the grass.  I told him to get to it when he could since I knew he has had a lot going on lately.

The other day I was surprised when a couple text messages popped up on my iPhone with front and back images of "The Redfish Box" and a short note that he had gotten a little bored at work.  I guess.  Damn.

There has been a lot going on in Paul's life with a recent move to Charleston, setting into a new residence and a studio, and starting work at Lowcountry Fly Shop as well.  By all accounts he's settling in quite well.

For more on Paul's work check out the Flood Tide Co. and The Sporting Art of Paul Puckett websites.

That. Is. Awesome.

When I get bored at work, I check out twitter or open a magazine...therein lies the difference...
