Jenkins Fly Rods PLG Glass Rods

For the past several weeks I've spent some time in the front yard, but sadly not on the water yet, with the 7'6" Jenkins Fly Rods PLG Glass Rods five weight.  This two piece glass fly rod is an action that I would consider medium to medium soft and best in close to casting distances of fifty or so feet.  Technical dry fly anglers will like this taper quite a bit and the aesthetics of the build are striking as well.

The PLG Glass Rods ars offered as a 7'0" four weight, 7'3" four weight, and a 7'6" five weight and priced at $299.  The PLG fly rods certainly represent a great value in fiberglass fly rods and until Christmas Jenkins Fly Rods is discounting these builds by $50 to those that are interested in placing an order.

This Jenkins Fly Rods PLG 7'6" five weight is now a part of the T.F.M. Fly Rod Loan Program and is available for demo.  Please send an email with questions or to request to demo this fly rod.

Please visit the Jenkins Fly Rods website for more information or to place an order.

Steve Jenkins is absolutely one of the finest gentlemen I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. I have a 7' 6" 4wt Lamiglas build from Jenkins Fly Rods that is stunning. I have ordered the 7' 6" 5wt to pair with a black Abel TR2. Don't miss this opportunity to own a Jenkins glass rod at a fantastic price!

You're welcome Cameron. Thank you for the wonderful blog. I just won the bid for one of Steve's 8' 3 piece 4 wt Diamondglass builds. It seems some don't care for the blue blank. I love it! The guide wraps are iron gray with black and white variegated tipping with a tich anodized IUL (Internal Up-Locking) reel seat. I thought the IUL reel seat was some what modern looking, so i'm going to try and balance the rod with a Ross Evolution LT in grey mist.
