Last week an envelope arrived from the New Zealand blank company CTS Fishing and inside was a package with all the different colors that they offer in their Quartz glass blanks. Just about every color of the rainbow and then some are represented in their offerings and it's neat to see all the different shades in hand.
I've said it before but it's no wonder that more and more glass fanatics are building on the Quartz blanks and truth told many of the small shop builders are sourcing their custom blanks from them as well. They do unreal good work and can do just about anything that a rod builder wants to create with them.
CTS Fishing offers over 70 different blanks in their Quartz line up from ultralight glass to heavier line weight glass to switch and two handers.
