I know that I had already told you to mark your calendars but this serves as a reminder that the 2013 Tie-One-On-Athon is coming up this Sunday, February 24th and held in the upstairs lair of Southern Culture On The Fly in downtown Asheville. Hunter Banks and T.F.M. are both signed up as sponsors and it's great to be involved again this year in a very worthy event which supports Project Healing Waters.
What to expect? Badass fly tying. I hear a few notable fly tiers will be in attendance.
What else? Tasty food and beverage by Dough and Green Man Brewing.
Dammit. Still need more? Steven from S.C.O.F. and I have lined up a mess of gear sponsors who have sent quite a few items of swag to be given away as door prizes and also to be used as silent auction items as well. Bring a few dollars with you to help support PHW.
I'll have a small T.F.M. booth and will be giving a portion of the sales to the cause as well. It's the perfect time to pick up that T.F.M. Bluegill t-shirt you've been pining for or a grip of T.F.M. decals. Or both.
