sea-swallow'd

Last night before bed Hadley and I watched Ryan Peterson's latest film that beautifully highlights Bristol Bay, Alaska and the local scene surrounding the proposed Pebble Mine project.  By the end of this short film she was chanting "NO PEBBLE MINE" over and over as she jumped on my back and I carried her to bed.

Even though she's seven years old she totally gets it.  Maybe it's because she really likes eating wild salmon from the grill each summer.  More likely it's because even a child can understand what's at stake here. Why don't they?

Watch.  Then do this.  The EPA is taking comments from the public until May 31st.  Take thirty seconds and send a message through the Trout Unlimited Take Action Today page. It's that damn important that you do.
