A friend of mine tipped me off on Finn Utility a few weeks ago and I've been keeping an eye on their website and social media pages since then. This week they released a short video which is a neat insight into this small shop gear company, their history and mission, and the water they spend time on.
There are a handful of small indie companies, with Finn Utility among them, who are working with canvas, leather, and sourcing the very best materials that they can to develop timeless pieces of fly fishing gear that spans decades of use and not just something that you'll get tired of and throw away. I think there is something very wonderful about that.
Check out the Finn Utility website to see their current offerings and follow along on Facebook and Instagram as well.
