Today's T.F.M. Spotting Photo Contest entry comes from Wayne Smith of Smith Creek and a North Island rainbow trout that was caught on an old school Fenwick fly rod. Looks like a grand time was had.

I was having a ball fishing my forty year old Fenwick 7 1/2 ft rod six weight combination rod. I had to work to cast forty feet, but it was an absolute ball playing fish on! The little bow in the photo though it was a Marlin! Great fun and one out of four great days on central North Island rivers."
Small bow? I'd sure like to catch a few of those.
