It hasn't even been a year since Lowcountry Journal's first videos showed up online and it's more than a little bit amazing to see how Doug Roland's shooting style and edit skills, along with a few choice photo equipment upgrades, have all come together.
Recently the Lowcountry Journal spent some time with John Irwin of Fly Right Charters and put a video together of Irwin's Balsa Wood Shrimp which is a fun watch and I'm thinking a few need to find their way into my redfish box.
A great follow up video is this shortie with Paul Puckett of Flood Tide Co. where he puts that popper shrimp to work on one of the locals.
I don't think anyone is working harder to tell the story of what's going on in the Charleston angling scene than Lowcountry Journal and it's well worth a follow through the website, Facebook, Instagram, and of course Vimeo.
