Last weekend Pat Cohen of Super Fly sent along a quick email and photograph of the finished Freedom Sliders before he shipped them off to the auction winners.
These two flies represent four or five hours work at the vise for Pat and even though they would fit squarely into the mouth of a fish, I'd suspect these will be kept on display as a piece of fly art.
The idea of an auction to benefit Project Healing Waters was Pat's all along and I am really excited how it turned out with $625 donated to a very worthy cause.
Thanks again to Andrew and Matthew for making the donations that they committed to during this online auction.
