Our second day of Beaver Bash started with a morning that was a mix of clouds and sun with possible weather showing up in the afternoon. All three boats stuck within eye shot of each other for most of the day and everyone was able to pick off a few carp in a mix of areas from deep pools, to the flats, to fish cruising the beach which allowed the fellows to wade in and take shots at carp in the waves. It was a good day.
The two carp that I caught during the day were on different deep sand flats in six or so feet of water cruising and looking for an easy meal. Those deep water eats are always really cool and the second carp went straight to the backing.
