It's been some time since I've highlighted rod builder Bill Hickey of W. Jude Fly Rod Co. and I wanted to share this recent CTS Quartz 8'6" three piece six weight since it's a very good example of his work. This build features a full wells grip, Lemke hardware, Bubinga wood insert, Struble agate stripping guide, and Snake Brand guides.
Bill does a lot of his fiberglass builds on the CTS Quartz blanks and they offer a lot of options as far as line weight, length, and literally dozens of blank colors chose from. This build was done in lemon Drop yellow.
