The Lowcountry Fly Shop recently made a move down the street to a larger shop space and they have decided to kick things off right with a Grand Opening event this Sunday, November 16th complete with free oysters and beer. This event should be a whole lot of good times for those that stop in.
Southern Culture On The Fly, Flood Tide Apparel, Towee Boats, and Schliske Bamboo Fly Rods (among others) will be on around for the event and there will be a few giving presentations and fly tying instructional sessions as well.
I will be giving a presentation on modern fiberglass fly rods at some point during the day and plan on bringing a few demos along with me which will include some redfish worthy eight and nine weights too.
