The wheels always seem to be turning at Swift Fly Fishing and for their first set of Signature Series Fly Rods, they have tapped Shane Gray of Graywolf Rods to build out five exceptional Epic 686.
This is a really good place to start with the Signature Series Fly Rods as Shane Gray needs little introduction and this blank is wildly popular for many a good reason. Also, there is likely not another small shop fly rod builder who's put together more Epic 686's than Shane has over the past couple of years. His workmanship shows through in each of these five builds.
Each of these Signature Series Epic 686 fly rods include...
Want to know more about the Epic 686 fly rod? Visit the T.F.M. review that I did sometime back. Mine was built by Shane Gray as well and I can't say enough good about his work or this stellar blank.
Visit the Swift Fly Fishing website for more information. At last glance there were only two of the five Epic 686 builds still available and these are not likely to last long before they are shipped off to someone's collection somewhere.

Obviously Shane's workmanship is top notch.
However the chosen hardware wouldn't have been my choice. The reel seat is just too much.
Workmanship crafted over an Epic ever ensures superb functionalities and recreations. Titanium and Zirconium gives sturdiness of the make. Uniqueness maintained through specific categorization ensures more suitable choices. Excellent products!
