Over the Labor Day weekend our family spent a few days on Isle of Palms and on Monday afternoon everyone went home leaving me with a couple of days of hang out with friends and take advantage of a couple flood tide afternoons.
I spent Monday's flood tide with Captain Ernest Brighton of Palmetto Fly Fishing and then Captain Scotty Davis and Captain Matt Schliske of Lowcountry Fly Shop went out together on Tuesday afternoon.
We saw a few tails each trip but it was a little tough. I might have had one good shot between the two afternoons but couldn't connect. At least I was able to get a handful of cool snaps with my 35mm and 10mm fisheye lens while taking in what makes the lowcountry stellar.

If you find yourself in Charleston and in need of a redfish fix, stop in at Lowcountry Fly Shop or book a trip through Palmetto Fly Fishing for the remedy.
