6 Good Reads

Coming back from Wyoming on Monday was no easy task with the Delta computer crash and there was a pile of work on my desk on Tuesday morning.  I am slowly getting on top of things and put together six solid articles to enjoy for an early start to your weekend.

MIDCURRENT - Q&A WITH INDIGO GUIDE SERVICE
Writer, photog, and international wanderer Dave Karczynski made a quick trip over to Beaver Island a couple of weeks ago and sat down with the fellows of Indigo Guide Service to talk Great Lakes carp.

FLY FISHERMAN - YVON ON SIMPLE FLIES
It's really easy to get drawn in by all the overdone fly patterns in the bins but the old simple flies are proven and still work.  Most times better than the ones that you think look better.

YETI STORIES - DOWN AND OUT IN SAMOA
For all those that think that YETI products are overpriced and hyped, at least some of the profits are funding excellent story features on their blog.  Jess McGlothlin went on a junket to Samoa last year and recently this story was featured on the website with some stellar images and narrative.

FLYMEN FISHING COMPANY - BLUEGILLS ARE GRAND
Anyone who's read this website for any length of time will know that I have a serious soft spot for all things bluegill.

MADNESS AND MAGIC - OLDER AND WISER
Tim Schultz of Madness and Magic on growing up and hopefully getting wiser along the way.

TOSH BROWN 2.0
The Tosh Brown Photography website took a full overhaul and with it the blog.  Start at the top and scroll downwards.

What are your reading this week?
