KABUTO RODS - 2 New Things You Need

It's been awhile since I've talked about Yasuyuki Kabuto of Kabuto Rods on T.F.M. but he's got a couple new offerings that I thought would be great to pass along with this post.

1.  KABUTO RODS 8033
One of the things that most know about Kabuto Rods tapers are that they are typically progressive in feel.  The latest offering however, an eight foot three weight, is markedly different and Yasuyuki describes it as "The 8033 is most slow action in my line. Very nice for long leader casting for delicate fishing and nymphing.  I think that the 8033 will be one of most popular model of Kabuto Rods."

Interesting to see a slower taper offering from Kabuto Rods and this is certainly a fly rod that I would like to cast and fish at some point.

The Kabuto Rods 8033 brings the total offerings to eight models and I believe this blank will be offered to fly rod builders during future blank orders as well.  Follow the Facebook page to know when

2.  KABUTO LANDING NETS
Yasuyuki is working with a Japanese landing net craftsman to offer high grade bamboo landing nets in two sizes.  Orders take approximately one month to complete.  The Kabuto Landing Nets are offered in size Small and Medium and are priced at $325 and $350.

Please visit the Kabuto Rods website and Facebook page for more information.  Yasuyuki can be reached at kab@kabutorods.com.
