Loon Outdoors is kicking off the new year with a Fly Tying 101 series of live-streaming learn to tie fly sessions which begin on Thursday, January 6, 2017 and will continue each Thursday throughout the month. These sessions are free and along with five fly pattern tutorials planned for each episode there will be product giveaways as well.

"Every tyer started somewhere at some time. If you've wanted to start tying your own flies, then this is your somewhere. This is your time! Every Thursday in January at 6 pm PST we'll be live streaming a brand new, totally free, introductory series geared towards the newcomer.
Fly Tying 101 will focus on fundamental techniques and will demonstrate the use of essential tools and materials, including our fly tying products. Speaking of our products, we'll be giving away a collection of our tying products to a viewer every week! It will never be easier to learn how to make magic at the vise."
