I am headed to the Palometa Club in April and it's already time to get in the yard to practice with the three or four fly rods that I'll be taking on the trip.
Will I touch a permit on this trip? Who knows but a solid cast is the first step for getting there.

Are you fishing in the Permit tournament? I fished with Tarantula last year and he attempted to teach me the double haul. Mine was, shall we say, slightly less fluid.
Kris... Not fishing the tournament. Not sure I'm ready for that kind of stress in my life. HA...
