BETWEEN TWO BANKS - A Bamboo Builder's Take On Glass

Rod builder Jacob Rash of Between Two Banks was recently nudged by his partner Julian Schuller to pick up a couple of blanks from C. Barclay Fly Rod Co. and the end result of these two builds are nothing short of stunning.

The fly rod tapers of Chris Barclay are stellar and the rich brown color of his blanks were the perfect canvas for Jacob to create two very uniquely original builds.  These photos speak for themselves.

The stats on these two builds are...

  • Hand forged nickel-silver snake guides
  • Ring and saddle hook keeper
  • Wrapped in mahogany silk tipped with gold and black
  • Modified forward wells grip
  • Spalted maple reel seat with nickel silver cap and ring.
