ORVIS - 24 Hours of Down the Hatch 2020 Film Festival

What are you doing tonight?  Playing teacher and principal wear you out?  Or tomorrow as you navigate through Zoom team meetings while being business casual on top and pajama leisure waist down.  No one knows or cares, right?

Well, you have 24 hours (beginning now at 8:00 p.m. EST) to take in the Orvis Down the Hatch 2020 Film Festival.  This event was slated to cap off last month's Orvis Guide Rendezvous in Roanoke, Virginia, that was unfortunately cancelled in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.  Having attended this event held in Missoula and Asheville several times over the years, Orvis knows how to throw a party.

Orvis debuted the Down the Hatch 2020 Film Festival on their YouTube channel Saturday night and they are bringing it back up for the next 24 hours for you to enjoy.  Grab a drink (or three), snacks and press PLAY.

For you industry peeps who sadly haven't penciled anything in your calendar for a few weeks now, the Orvis Guide Rendezvous (Down the Hatch Festival on the last day) will be held in Missoula, Montana on April 22-24, 20201 and I'll hopefully find my way out there.  Maybe I'll see you there too.

Lastly, through all of this Orvis has gotten really creative keeping Tom Rosenbauer busy with fly tying tutorials along with various team members with social media interviews to discuss gear design, techniques and things to come.  Orvis is very much about the fly fishing industry as well as the greater fly fishing community and it's shown through the past few weeks.

Check out the Orvis website and place an order if you need a few things.  Of course, follow their Facebook and Instagram to keep up with the latest as they are staying crazy busy, COVID-19 or not.
