The other day, artist Jeff Kennedy reached out with an email talking about his upcoming 'Artist in Residence' week at Gates Au Sable Lodge. He had some ideas going through his head on what the theme of his artwork will be for the week and that had me going through old cigar boxes and photo albums filled with memories. I even found a journal book that I wrote in during the mid-1990's about fly fishing on the Au Sable River and Manistee Rivers around Grayling. Damn, those were some good times.
