I know that this is somewhat of a late heads up but Dette Flies in Livingston Manor, New York, will be hosting the Catskill Fiberglass Fly Rod Gathering on Saturday, October 5th and both Mike McFarland of McFarland Rod Company and Dusty Smith of Livingston Rod Company will be there for the day.
Mike will be giving a casting presentation and Dusty will talk about rolling fiberglass blanks. This sounds like a great event with two of the most talented fiberglass fly rod blank rolling nerds on the scene today.
