I had a long drive to and from Virginia this week for a smallmouth river trip (more on that later) and enjoyed listening to a recent episode of Waypoints Podcast with Ian Davis of Yellow Dog Flyfishing.
He and Jim Klug chatted about this new book, A Passion for Bonefish, and near the end of the episode mentioned the sister book, My 100 Favorite Bonefish Flies.
I don't know about carrying around that many different patterns but Ian's advice on what's in his fly box is worth watching. There's some great tips to be mindful of for your next bonefish trip.
