FLYTYINGDUCK - Four Favorite Hand-Tied Flies

Even when the algorithm tries to work against it, I am always seeking out the positive and wonderful on social media, and flytyingduck posts on Instagram always get my attention.  In the follow-up to a previous T.F.M. post sharing his work, I asked if he'd share four hand-tied favorites which are linked below with the step-by-step on how they are each tied.

The “Jeannie” and the “Jimmie” are also fairly small classic Salmon Flies.  I like tying them as it’s an opportunity to work with silk floss, and wing sets with bronze mallard and turkey.

The other is a variant of the “Green Butt Skunk”. I tied it up as a hackle tip in a “contemporary PNW spey” style, thinking it would be a really fishy steelhead fly."
