SUPPORT TEAM PADDLEFISH!

Last year Christine Johnson, aka Fly Fish Chick, announced on her blog that she and Banning Collins had joined together to train and prepare for the 262 mile long 47th Annual Texas Water Safari.

Christine has been raising money for Rett Syndrome research and Banning is taking donations for Project Healing Water. The two are racing together under the name of "Team Paddlefish".

For those of you that are unaware of what Rett Syndrome is please take a few minutes and look over the International Rett Syndrome Foundation website. As a father of a young daughter I can only imagine what it would be like to have a child affected with this debilitating disease.

Christine's goal is to raise $5,000 and she is already about 75% of the way there. The Texas Water Safari starts in eight days and it would be really excellent to see the T.F.M. readership step up and help make her goal.
