OtterBox Defender iPad Case Review

Over the past ten months our son has moved from crawling to walking to climbing onto everything and we've learned the hard way that if it isn't "Finn Proof" that we'll likely find it broken or forever lost.  In fact, lately we've taken to call our son, "El Toro", since he's a stocky little brute always on the go and has his little hands into everything.

Of course our electronic devices are a constant temptation for Finn and more than once we've found him carrying the iPad and then tossing it down on the tile floor in the kitchen when he sees us coming to take it away.  Think of him as our version of Will It Blend with a little less velocity but no less the damages.  We have uttered the words "Thanks goodness for OtterBox more than once" as we're picking the iPad off the floor.

The OtterBox Defender Case has really been a phenomenal cover for our iPad.  One part rigid plastic skeleton and one part rubberized skin which creates a case that is durable, easy to keep a hold of, and fits the iPad perfectly.  A clear screen cover is provided with the Defender Case which keeps your screen glass free of scratches.  Lastly, there is a removable plastic screen cover that also doubles as an iPad stand by lifting up the support on the floor of the screen cover and is perfect when viewing videos or surfing the web.  The Defender Case is durable and after months of daily use we haven't noted any wear or change in fit around the iPad.

Know that the Defender Case will ad some weight to your iPad but in my mind it's a small price to pay to know that it's fully protected.

The Defender iPad Case is now available in five colors, retails for $89.95, and is worth every dollar.
