Midwest Fly Fishing Expo Reminder

Just a quick heads up that the Midwest Fly Fishing Expo in Warren, Michigan is going on March 10th and 11th, which is today and tomorrow.  Jump in the car and get here.

I arrived yesterday and after organizing the T.F.M. booth space, I walked the expansive show floor meeting a few of the exhibitors that are here for this year's event.  This is going to be a great weekend and it's no surprise that the show typically sees over 4,000 visitors.

This year's show is especially "fiberglass heavy" with both Graywolf Rods and McFarland Rods displaying.  I will be giving a presentation this afternoon at 4:30 p.m. on "The Reinvention of the Fiberglass Fly Rod" and at some point during the weekend Mike McFarland will be giving a casting demonstration using fiberglass fly rods at the casting pond.

Collectively there should be three or four dozen different fiberglass fly rods for participants to demo and cast at the pond at this event.

Come on out and see the Midwest Fly Fishing Expo.  There is a tremendous amount of things to see and do at the show for the whole family.
