The Charleston F3T Event

Last evening was the yearly Fly Fishing Film Tour stop in Charleston, South Carolina and I again made the quick hop down to the coast for the event.   It's always good to catch up with friends at the show and the venue is about perfect for viewing the year's films.

The fellows at the Lowcountry Fly Shop stepped up to start the party off righteously with a parking lot oyster roast before both shows which let attendees shuck a few shells with a brew before the start of the night's films.

Artist Mike Savlen and I set up displays inside the theater and spent most of our night manning our posts.  Mike had some incredible work on display and it's looking like the lowcountry is a perfect fit for he and his wife.

Good times and great films.  Each year I am always impressed that the Charleston fly fishing public max out both shows.  The coldwater films are always appreciated but as expected it's the saltwater cuts that really bring out the whoops and hollers.

Thanks to all who came by the T.F.M. booth and picked up a shirt or decals.  I appreciate it and as always it was good to spread the word about my little piece of the internet.  See you again next year.
