Three Ways To Help Sam Drukman

This has already been circulating around the fly fishing blogoshere for a couple weeks now but I wanted to pass along here as well that noted fly rod builder and designer Sam Drukman, most recently of Sweetgrass Rods as one of the "Boo Boys", has acute Leukemia and was diagnosed while without health insurance.

There are three ways that you can help Sam Drukman in his time of need.

First, a medical trust fund has been set up and checks or money orders can be sent to:

The Drukman Family Trust
793 Cole Street
San Francisco, CA 94117

Second, the Scott Fly Rod Company has put together a raffle for a fly rod of your choice for $20 per ticket.  The winner will be drawn July 2, 2012.  More information can be found on the Benefit Raffle webpage.

Third, Sweetgrass Rods also has put together a raffle of one of their bamboo fly rods worth over $2,800.  Tickets are $20 each and the winner will be drawn July 4, 2012.  More information can be found on the Benefit Raffle webpage.

More information can be found on the Angling Trade website.
