This weekend the 2013 Midwest Fly Fishing Expo will be held at the Macomb Community College Sports & Expo Center and will certainly be an excellent time. There are a long list of exhibitors and seminars for this years show which should interest anglers of all sorts.
I will be giving seminars on both Saturday and Sunday and the presentation is titled "The Reinvention and Future of Glass". Saturday's seminar will be at 4:30 p.m. and Sunday's seminar will be at 12:30 p.m. More information can be found on the Midwest Fly Fishing Expo website.
I'll be manning the T.F.M. booth all weekend and will have quite a few glass fly rods available to take over to the casting ponds. I will also be bringing along quite a few T.F.M. t-shirts and decals, and even a few Eagle Claw Featherlight fly rods for sale too for those that are interested.
This is the 35th anniversary of the Midwest Fly Fishing Exp and the Michigan Fly Fishing Club does a very professional job of putting it all together. I am honored to be a part of it again this year.
